Medicinal Plant Resources is a multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary science developed on the basis of in Taxonomy, Ecology, Geography, Biochemistry, Natural Medical Chemistry and other disciplines. Medicinal Plant Resources focuses on species composition, quantity, geographical distribution, temporal and spatial variation, rational use and development and scientific management of traditional Chinese medicine resources. Training courses of Medicinal Plant Resources have been carried out for the Master and PhD candidate students since 2010 in Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Over 150 Master and PhD candidate students learned in this course.
